Good4businesses.co.uk is owned and operated by Good 4 LTD (collectively, hereafter referred to as “Good4businesses, us or we”). We provide products and services (collectively, hereinafter referred to as “Services or projects”) subject to any customer’s or buyer’s (collectively, hereafter referred to as “Client, you”). The Client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions, which may be updated at any time without notice with immediate effect.

The Terms of this Agreement will commence upon placing an order with and from use of Good4businesses.co.uk and its services. Client agrees to submit form with specifications and requirements which they deem the content contained to be completely satisfactory to their service/project requirements before work will be started.

Description of service.

Client understands and agrees that services and products may include advertisements from Good4businesses or its affiliates. Client also understands and agrees that the Service may include certain communications from Good4businesses, such as service announcements, administrative messages, and newsletter(s). Client understands and agrees that the Service is provided “AS-IS” and that Good4businesses assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, miss-delivery or failure to store any data once final payment has been made. Client is responsible for saving up to date back up files of all services and products provided unless otherwise stated.
To access/receive services Client may be asked to provide certain registration details or other information. It is a condition of the Web design support services provided by Good4businesses that all information provided by Client will be correct, current, and complete. Client agrees that it is their sole responsibility to notify Good4businesses immediately if any contact details provided are to change.

1. ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY

Good4businesses reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Services (or any part thereof), based on non-cooperation, non payment, or unwanted delay from client, at any time, without notice. Client expressly agrees that Client, or any related third party, shall not hold Good4businesses or its suppliers liable for any losses, damages or consequences whatsoever from such modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Services.

Good4businesses will provide Technical Support on all website projects from our web design packages, from the date of delivery/go live unless otherwise stated. This clause does not cover projects not managed by Good4businesses, as we cannot support changes made by other providers.
The definition ‘Technical Support’ covers;
– Errors/Bug fixing.
– Technical trouble shooting.
– Technical advice.
– Minor changes to the site. This does not include any structural, functional, design or any such change that alters the original scope of the project.
Upon completing the final stages of your website development Good4businesses will create a password and account designation. Once final payment has been made you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all account details and passwords and are fully responsible for all activities that occur from the use of these. Good4businesses cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

2. Website Services

2.1You understand that all information contained on your website is the sole responsibility of you the website owner upon final payment being received. This means that Clients, and not Good4businesses, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available via your website excluding the link ‘Designed And Supported by good4businesses.co.uk’ which remains the property of Good4businesses.

2.2 You acknowledge that Good4businesses has sole discretion on websites linking into any Good4businesses owned site and that we reserve the right to refuse, or have you remove any site linking to us that is deemed inappropriate by Good4businesses.

2.3 We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Good4businesses shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of any Service for any reason.

2.4 You represent, undertake and warrant to us that you will use the Web Site allocated to you only for lawful purposes and to promptly inform us if this clause or any sub clause of this clause has been breached or you become aware that they may have been breached.

2.5 We shall use our reasonable endeavors to make your website available to you at all times the Server and the Services but we shall not, in any event, be liable for interruptions of Service or down-time of the Server.

2.6 Website lead/construction times are not guaranteed and are given as a guide only.

2.7 Web browsers – Good4businesses makes every effort to ensure that websites designed by us are fit for modern browsers (e.g. Firefox, Internet Explorer 8 & 9, Google Chrome, etc.).  The client agrees that Good4businesses cannot guarantee correct functionality with all browser software across different operating systems.

  • Good4businesses cannot accept responsibility for web pages which do not display acceptably in new versions of browsers released after the website have been designed and handed over to the Client. As such, Good4businesses reserves the right to quote for any work involved in changing the website design or website code for it to work with updated browsers.

2.9 The website packages available on the Good4businesses website use template files, these templates maybe used more than once on other client sites. For a more bespoke service please consider using our bespoke service.

3. Renewal Clause

Good 4 LTD reserves the right to cancel any domain/hosting service active on its servers by providing the clients with a maximum notice period of seven days, prior to the date of expiry. Notice will be provided to the clients through E-mail. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide and update Good4businesses with current contact details.

All Clients’ are requested to ensure that renewal of service is done at least seven days prior to expiry; else the above clause will come into effect. Failure to comply with these terms absolves Good 4 LTD of any and all responsibility to keep the hosting service active beyond this period.

4. Links

You acknowledge and agree that Good 4 LTD is not responsible for the availability of any external sites or resources, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content which Good 4 LTD has no control over. You further acknowledge and agree that Good 4 LTD shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such site or link or resource.

5. Payment & Refund Policies.

Client understands that some of Good 4 LTD services may require a non refundable deposit before work will commence on certain services or projects. Client agrees that when a deposit is paid and work on any project has commenced  by Good 4 LTD the deposit automatically becomes non refundable.

Good 4 LTD agrees to offer 100% full refunds in the unlikely event that the criteria on Client specifications requirement forms or design briefs are not met.

6. Graphic Design Refund Policy

Client agrees to pay and understands that once work commences on any such project any deposits or payments made will automatically become non-refundable.

7. Hosting and Domain Name Terms and Conditions

Upon ordering any web design package offered on the Good4businesses website your hosting services will be managed for you, this is an optional service add on.

Managed hosting includes data backups of the website upon request. Good4businesses will not be held responsible for any loss of profits, downtime or any other occurrences relating to the client NOT requesting a data backup. We advise you to take/request regular back-ups especially after updating any part of your website.

Managed hosting, access to the hosting account is strictly prohibited to Good4businesses staff only. The client agrees that Good4business will completely manage the hosting environment relinquishing  all hosting management services and operation to Good4businesses.

Hosting Liability

  • Servers or hosting platforms are not 100% reliable and from time to time Good4businesses/Clients may experience downtime due to server configurations, updates, malfunctions or any other such occurrence that results in downtime.  You can be sure we do all we can to avoid such circumstances. The client agrees to indemnify and hold Good4businesses harmless from any claims resulting from such circumstances.

Domain Name

  • Domain names purchased by Good4businesses belong solely to you the client. Domain names we register on behalf of the client can NOT be moved until a 30 day period has passed since the purchase.
  • Domain names purchased by us (the free domain name with each package) will be registered for 1 year. Domain name renewals are required in order to keep your domain/website live. You will receive a renewal notice from Good4businesses closer to the time of expiration.
  • The client indemnifies and hold Good4businesses harmless from any claims resulting from NONE renewals being made and the website/domain becoming in-responsive or not available.

9. Copyrights

8.1 Websites created by us on any webdesign package belong solely to the you/client unless the website is within a payment plan period agreed between Good4businesses and client, full payment is required for this copyright to take effect.

8.2 When buying a website outright Good4businesses relinquishes all Copyrights for design, structure, content and any images or graphical content.

10. Complete Liability

Good4businesses hereby excludes itself and founding company Good4LTD, its Employees and or Agents from all and any liability from:

  • Loss or damage caused by any inaccuracy;
  • Loss or damage caused by omission;
  • Loss or damage caused by delay or error, whether the result of negligence or other cause in the production of the web site;
  • Loss or damage to clients’ artwork/photos, supplied for the site. Immaterial whether the loss or damage results from negligence or otherwise.

The entire liability of Good4businesses to the Client in respect of any claim whatsoever or breach of this Agreement, whether or not arising out of negligence, shall be limited to the charges paid for the Services under this Agreement in respect of which the breach has arisen.

11. Severability

In the event any one or more of the provisions of these terms and conditions shall be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of the terms and conditions shall be unimpaired and the terms and conditions shall not be void for this reason alone. Such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a mutually acceptable valid, legal and enforceable provision, which comes closest to the intention of the parties underlying the invalid,
